Bobbi & Lance remain in the cold!

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off Marvel’s Most Wanted will not be going ahead after all, ABC has confirmed.

The series was set to star former S.H.I.E.L.D agents Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter, played by Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood – who was last seen taking the fall for their colleagues for the greater good of the agency, forcing the pair to go on the run with a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads.

The series would have seen the duo form an uneasy alliance with rogue adventurer Dominic Fortune (Delroy Lindo), helping with his agenda in return for protection.

The project has struggled to get off the ground with the original pilot passed over and Palicki and Blood joining the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast, before being written out with the intention of filming the spin-off. Will the pair rejoin S.H.I.E.L.D in the upcoming fourth season? And with S.H.I.E.L.D the only remaining Marvel series on ABC, will the show get a fifth season?

Marvel’s Head Of Television and executive producer, Jeph Loeb, said: “We’re very proud of all the hard work, from Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski’s writing and producing to the incredible cast, especially the supremely talented Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood, who we adore.”
