Country music drama moves over to Sky

Sky Living is to be the new UK home of the fourth series of ABC’s critically-acclaimed US drama Nashville, after acquiring the rights which were previously owned in the UK by E4.

Created by Callie Khouri, and set within the city’s burgeoning country music scene, Nashville follows the lives of legendary country music icon (and new record label owner) Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton24, The West Wing)), breakout pop starlet Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere – Heroes), and a community of diverse musicians, songwriters, and industry players including popular characters Deacon (Chip Esten), Avery Barkley (Jonathan Jackson), Scarlett O’Connor (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar Scott (Sam Palladio).

Series four also sees various special musical guest appearances.

Nashville is produced by Lionsgate, ABC Studios and Gaylord Entertainment.

Viewers will be able to catch up on previous seasons of Nashville on Sky Box Sets and NOW TV ahead of the fourth season which will air on Sky Living this summer.
