Graduation arrives

Channel 4 head of drama Piers Wenger has confirmed that comedy-drama Fresh Meat will end with a fourth and final series this autumn.

The series stars Jack Whitehall, Zawe Ashton, Joe Thomas, Kimberley Nixon, Greg McHugh and Charlotte Ritchie as co-habiting students attending Manchester University.

Broadcast reports the series will bow out with eight new episodes which will wrap up the university lives of the six main protagonists as they graduate.

Creators Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong remain on board as showrunners of the Objective Productions’ series.
