Suits actor Patrick J Adams has landed a guest role on the second season of BBC America / BBC Three series, Orphan Black.

The series which stars award-winning Tatiana Maslany, features her character Sarah embroiled in a cloning conspiracy in which she plays all the clone parts.

Deadline reports, Adams is set to play Jesse, a brave but regular guy whose life is turned upside down by the show’s clones.

Adams said of his casting: “From my first viewing of the first episode I knew there wasn’t another show on television that I wanted to be part of more than Orphan Black,” he said in a press release. “Tatiana Maslany is doing some of the best work on TV. Period. Really, I just wanted front row seats to that performance.” Adams will next be seen in the third season of Suits which airs on UK channel, Dave.

Michiel Huisman, Peter Outerbridge and Ari Millen will also guest star in the second series.

Orphan Black is currently filming in Toronto, Canada and returns to BBC America on April 19, 2014. The series is expected to air in the UK on BBC Three later in 2014.
