The BBC has released a new image for its 13-part Autumn fantasy-drama, Atlantis, from the creators of Merlin.
The picture (below) shows Pythagoras (Robert Emms – War Horse, Mirror Mirror) , Jason (Jack Donnelly – Dancing On The Edge, House Of Anubis) and Hercules (Mark Addy – The Syndicate, Trollied).
Atlantis brings to life the vast store of Greek myths and legends re-imagined for a new generation, set in a time of legendry heroes, mythical creatures and gods.
The series will also star: Juliet Stevenson (White Heat, The Hour), Sarah Parish (Mistresses, Monroe), Jemima Rooper (Lost In Austen, Hex) and Aiysha Hart (Djinn, Honour).
Atlantis was written and created by Howard Overman (Misfits, Dirk Gently, Vexed, Merlin) and is executive produced by Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy (Merlin, Hex, As If, Sugar Rush).
