The first look picture and trailer has been released for the forthcoming sci-fi series Primeval: New World – the North American spin-off from the UK series.
The series which will be Directed by Stargate‘s Amanda Tapping and will include Andrew-Lee Potts reprising his UK Primeval role of Connor.
The trailer shows us regular cast members: Niall Matter (Eureka’s), Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries)and Final Destination 3’s Crystal Lowe.
Also starring is: Miranda Frigon (Heartland), Geoff Gustafson (Once Upon a Time) and Danny Rahim (Young James Herriot).
Niall Matter Told SciFiNow:Â “Our moments with the dinosaurs are going to be a lot more real and higher stakes,”
“It’s got a harder edge that we walk on, because every time we see these creatures it affects us in a huge way and we’re never getting used to that. I feel like the original Primeval knew a lot more about the world that they were dealing with than we do.”
Primeval – will air on Space in Canada and on Watch in the UK.
