ITV has released a first glimpse at its upcoming drama adaptation of Jekyll and Hyde while speaking during an exclusive panel session at the recent MCM London Comic Con (23 May).

The ten-part, set in 1930’s London stars Tom Bateman in the lead role as Robert Jekyll.

Inspired by The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson, the series also stars Richard E Grant as Bulstrode, who heads the secret government department MI0 known as ‘The Invisible Men’ and Natalie Gumede takes the part of Bella who forms part of a love triangle with Robert.

The panel was attended by the principal cast and writer and executive producer Charlie Higson, who told us what to expect from the series.

Jekyll And Hyde will air on ITV this Autumn.
