E4 and My Mad Fat Diary star, Sharon Rooney (aka Rae), has posted a special heartfelt vlog to the shows fans discussing her feelings on the third series being the last, and thanking fans for their support and positive response to the shows mental health storyline.
“For me its the end of a huge journey. And… that is a hard thing!”
“All I wanted to do with this show was help one person see that they weren’t alone; that they were good enough. That hurting themselves was not the answer.”
Filming for the third and final series of My Mad Fat Diary has come to an end. The series is due to air on E4 beginning Monday, 22nd June at 10pm.
