The Walking Dead Season 7: Rick & Co get ready to fight back in mid-season premiere promo
Rick moves from obedience to resistance
AMC has released a new promo trailer for the upcoming mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead Season 7.
The promo features interviews with various cast members and executive producers, and clips from the opening episode, including Michonne (Danai Gurira) galvanizing Rick (Andrew Lincoln) forward and him appealing to The Kingdom’s leader Ezekiel (Khary Payton) for help in defeating Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) reign of terror.
Showrunner Scott M. Gimple, says: “The first half of season seven was very much about these characters and the audience finding their way forward from an incredible trauma. By the end we see, all these characters that have been in different places, have wound up on the same page. They weren’t ready; they weren’t in a place to fight. They are now!”
The Walking Dead Season 7, Part 2 starts on Sunday, 12th February on AMC in the US. FOX UK will air the episode the following day in the UK.
