“I’m only interested in one thing, and that’s bent coppers”
BBC One has unveiled a new trailer for Line Of Duty Series 4, which will see Thandie Newton take on lead guest role, played in previous series’ by Lennie James, Keeley Hawes and Daniel Mays.
The six-part series, sees AC12  tackle their most devious opponent yet – DCI Roz Huntley (Newton), whose conduct is called into question while trying to prove herself to her superiors during a career-defining case, Operation Trapdoor.
The trailer also gives a first-look at Royce Pierreson (Murdered By My Boyfriend) who appears to have joined AC12’s regular team, played by Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar.
Joining Newton in series 4 will be Jason Watkins (Taboo) and Lee Ingleby (The A Word), which has been promoted to BBC One from BBC Two and commissioned for a fifth series.
Line Of Duty Series 4 will air on BBC One in the coming months.
