First-look: New Sky 1 drama Jamestown releases teaser trailer
New trailer teases Jamestown female pioneers!
Sky 1 unveiled a first look teaser trailer for new eight-part drama Jamestown, written by Bill Gallagher (Lark Rise to Candleford, The Paradise).
Set in 1619, Jamestown stars Naomi Battrick, Sophie Rundle and Niamh Walsh as Jocelyn, Alice and Verity as three spirited English women embarking on new lives in America in the early days of the first British settlers.
Destined to be married to the men of Jamestown, the women plan to start afresh, fulfil their dreams and become the female pioneers of an exciting new western outpost.
Leading the cast of settlers are Max Beesley, Jason Flemyng, Dean Lennox-Kelly, Shaun Dooley, Stuart Martin, Steven Waddington, Matt Stokoe and Burn Gorman.
Jamestown is set to air on Sky 1 in the coming months.
