Limited-series return for Prison drama?
Fox is said to be developing a limited-series revival of Prison Break starring Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell reprising their leading roles.
The series ran for four seasons between 2005-09 and focused on two brothers: one who had been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other who planned to help his brother escape prison and clear his name.
The new series would return most likely as an ‘event series’, and feature a closed-ended storyline. News of the revival, along with if Miller and Purcell are involved is yet to be confirmed
The duo recently re-teamed up to play Captain Cold and Heat Wave in the first season of The CW’s The Flash and will also be starring as the same characters in the upcoming DC’s Legends of Tomorrow series on The CW.
