BBC One has unveiled a trailer for the new 8-part adaptation of Poldark, starring Being Human‘s Aidan Turner.
Based on Winston Graham’s acclaimed 18th-century Cornish saga and adapted by Debbie Horsfield, the drama sees Ross Poldark (Turner) return from the War to his beloved Cornwall to find his world in ruins.
Eleanor Tomlinson stars as Demelza, a fiercely independent heroine who is rescued from a life of violence and drudgery by Ross.
Jack Farthing, Kyle Soller, Warren Clarke, Phil Davies, Beatie Edney, Alexander Arnold, Robert Daws, Heida Reed and Ruby Bentall also star in the series.
Poldark will air on BBC One Sunday, 8th March at 9pm.
