E4 picks up demon hunter drama
E4 has picked up the UK rights to air Season 9 of Supernatural in January 2015.
Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, the series follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as demon hunters alongside Misha Collins as the angel Castiel.
Season 9 follows the brothers as they take to the road again in their â67 Chevy Impala to battle against a world now inhabited by thousands of newly arrived powerful beings. But a dark secret hangs over Deanâs headâĤ and he might have finally crossed the line to protect his brother.
Supernatural is produced by Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television and created by Eric Kripke.
The series previously aired in the UK on Sky Living until it was dropped in March. In the US the cult drama airs The CW channel.
