Claire Danes to continue the fight against terrorism
Showtime has renewed Homeland for a fifth season of 12-episodes.
The terrorism drama, stars Claire Danes as troubled and unorthodox CIA agent Carrie Mathison, who in season four became station chief in Islamabad following the death of Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis).
Mandy Patinkin, Rupert Friend and Nazanin Boniadi also star in the series.
Showtime president David Nevins said: “In its fourth season, Homeland has brilliantly reinvented itself. It continues to capture the attention of a devoted fan base.”
Homeland airs on Channel 4 in the UK. The network has yet to announce if they will be airing the fifth season.
