Holmes and Watson are “#notkidding”

Producer Sue Vertue has revealed the first image of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman (above) as Sherlock Holmes and John Watson in the 2015 Sherlock Special episode.
The actors appear to be dressed in attire you would expect in the original Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels, as opposed to its modern-day incarnation written by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. However, Vertue used the hashtag “#notkidding”when posting the picture on twitter. A picture of the read-through draft script was also tweeted (below).
Sherlock will commence filming in January 2015.
