Jane Campion working on second season
Jane Campion and Gerard Lee‘s award-winning drama, Top Of The Lake is returning to BBC Two for a second season.
Set in the remote mountains of New Zealand, the first series followed Elizabeth Moss (Mad Men) as Detective Robin Griffin, who investigates the disappearance of a 12-year old pregnant girl.
Holly Hunter, Peter Mullan and David Wenham also starred. Casting is yet to be announced for the second season.
See-Saw will again produce the series, which won Moss a Golden Globe for her performance. The series was nominated for a total of eight Emmys, winning for best cinematography for a TV movie or miniseries.
Top Of The Lake airs on BBC Two in the UK, BBC UKTV in Australia and New Zealand, and the Sundance Channel in the US.
