Sky Living has acquired the UK rights to air US psychological thriller, Stalker in a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

From Executive Producer Kevin Williamson (The Following, The Vampire Diaries), Stalker stars Maggie Q (Nikita) and Dylan McDermott (Hostages) as a detective duo investigating stalking incidents, all the while trying to keep their own compulsions at bay.

Detective Jack Larsen (McDermott) is a decorated New York homicide detective with a tainted reputation, who has moved to LA to start over in a new role at the Threat Assessment Unit of the LAPD, an elite unit that handles all stalking and threat cases in the city including voyeurism, cyber harassment and romantic fixation. Larsen has a unique understanding of obsession and the triggers that propel stalkers to hunt their prey but clashes immediately with new boss Detective Beth Davis (Maggie Q); she cares deeply for the stalking victims, and is willing to do whatever it takes to help them.

Antonia Hurford-Jones, Director Sky Living commented: “I am delighted to be adding Stalker to the excellent line-up of quality US drama on the channel. It’s that perfect mix of entertaining and terrifying that Kevin Williamson does so brilliantly.  It’s guaranteed to have our customers on the edge of their seats as they watch.  And checking under the bed and behind the curtains before they can sleep.”

Stalker will air on Sky Living later this year.
