The BBC has unveiled the first teaser trailer and month of airdate for series 8 of cult BBC One series, Doctor Who.
Starring Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor, the 15-second trailer shows the electrics of the TARDIS spark to reveal a silhouette of the Doctor.
Doctor Who series 8 is confirmed to air on BBC One in August 2014.
