With the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode nearing closer, the BBC has released a mini-prequel episode with a surprise star – eighth Doctor, Paul McGann, who reprises his role to show us just how the regeneration into John Hurt’s Doctor of the Time War comes about.
The 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who, starring David Tennant, Billie Piper, Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman and John Hurt, airs on BBC One on Saturday, 23 November 23 at 7.50pm and will be simulcast globally and screened in cinemas worldwide.
