Anne-Marie Duff returning for the final episode of ‘Shameless’

Original cast members return for ‘Shameless’ finale.

Channel 4 has announced Anne-Marie Duff will be returning to the Gallagher fold for the final ever episode of Shameless, which is currently filming in Manchester.

Marie Duff appeared in the first two series of the Channel 4 drama as Frank’s eldest put-upon daughter Fiona Gallagher, who left to live in Amsterdam with husband Steve (her real-life husband James McAvoy who she met on the series).

Other familiar characters returning for the finale of series 11 is, Monica (Annabelle Apsion) back in the Gallagher nest – and Frank (David Threlfall)… well, Frank, as ever, is in a spot of bother…

In a state of emergency the Gallagher off-spring are summoned to show solidarity and Fiona (Anne-Marie Duff), Lip (Jody Latham), and Carl (Elliott Tittensor).

With the Gallaghers reunited alongside all the Chatsworthians plus Kev (Dean Lennox Kelly) and Kelli Hollis (Yvonne Karib) the only way to go is… to party!

Shameless 11 is said to be as “celebratory, defiant and as unapologetic as ever.”

Episode 14 of the final ever series – Shameless 11 – shoots until 19 January and will return to Channel 4 in Spring 2013.
