Picture Gallery: Meet The Characters of BBC1 Drama ‘Last Tango in Halifax’
Following the first look picture we revealed on Saturday, here’s your first look at the main characters in new BBC One Drama ‘Last Tango in Halifax.’
The Sally Wainwright, six-episode penned drama stars Derek Jacobi (The King’s Speech; Borgias) and Anne Reid (Upstairs, Downstairs; Marchlands) in a new romantic comedy series that sees would-be childhood sweethearts Alan (Jacobi) and Celia (Reid) reunited after 60 years. But the uplifting tale of true love is anything but smooth and the pair are surprised to find it’s their own families, and especially daughters Caroline played by Sarah Lancashire (Five Daughters; Rose And Maloney) and Gillian played by Nicola Walker (Spooks; Being Human) who create the obstacles.
Last Tango in Halifax will air on BBC One on 20th November at 9pm.
