More cast announced for Merlin

As Samwell Tarly in Game of Thrones

BBC fantasy drama Merlin is to get its second Game of Thrones star its been announced as actor John Bradley joins the cast for series five.

Bradley is best known for his role as Samwell Tarly, the dim companion of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones.

The Merlin Official twitter feed confirmed Bradley will play character called Tyr Seward, in the upcoming series.

He will join his Game of Thrones co-star Liam Cunningham, who has also signed up for a guest role.

Merlin returns to BBC one in the Autumn.
