Sony Entertainment Television has announced that it is to show BBC One drama Spooks from the very beginning.

The award-winning spy drama which ended its ten-year run in November 2011, will air on the digital channel every Wednesday at 10pm starting on 16th May, giving audiences the chance to revisit the show again or watch it for the first time from the very first episode.

The spy drama starred Peter Firth, Nicola Walker, Rupert Penry Jones, Matthew MacFadyen, Keeley Hawes, Richard Armitage and Raza Jaffrey amongst many other stars over the ten years.

Spooks is nominated for an Arqiva British Academy Television Award 2012 in the Best Drama category.

It was recently announced Peter Firth is to star in five – part BBC One drama Mayday. Nicola Walker can next be seen in the Sally Wainwright penned drama Last Tango also for BBC One.

Sony Entertainment TV can be found on Sky channel 157 and Virgin channel 193.
