Being Human Series 4 airdate has been announced by the BBC to return on BBC Three Sunday 5th February at 9pm with “Eve of the War.”

The fourth series will see cast changes with the departure of Russell Tovey in series four and Sinead Keenan (who will not appear) as werewolves George and Nina, and the departure of Aidan Turner at the end of series three, when his character Mitchell was staked (Turner left to film The Hobbit movies).

Damien Molony joins the cast as new vampire Hal, Lenora Crichlow will return as ghost Annie, and Michael Socha will reprise his role as werewolf Tom (now as a main character). Craig Roberts is also set to reprise his role as teen vampire Adam.

Harry Potter‘s Mark Williams will play Regus, while Sherlock star and co-creator Mark Gatiss, Whitechapel‘s Alex Jennings, and Teachers actor James Lance are also set to appear in series four.

Written and created by Toby Whithouse, episode 1 “Eve of the War” opens with the gang reeling from the deaths of their friend Mitchell and Tom’s father McNair at the end of series 3. Annie, George, and Tom try to protect themselves from the Old Ones, vampires who have a strong interest in the baby of werewolves George and Nina, while we meet new vampire Hal.
