Sally Carmen goes from ‘Shameless’ to ‘Prisoner’s Wives’ series 2.
Shameless actress Sally Carmen has joined the cast of the second series of BBC One drama, Prisoner’s Wives in a lead role.
Carmen’s management company Shepherd Management said on their website: “SALLY CARMAN is delighted to be joining the cast of “PRISONERS WIVES II” in the leading role of ‘Kim Hall'”
Carmen is likely to be the replacement for Emma Rigby‘s character who played the wife of Jonas Armstrong in series one, as neither stars will be returning for the second series.
‘Spooks‘ actress Nicola Walker has also been spotted filming, but it’s unknown yet if her role in the drama is a main part or guest role.
‘Prisoner’s Wives’ series 2 is currently being filmed in Sheffield for transmission in 2013.
