The Weinstein Company has released a new teaser poster for The Master, written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

The film stars: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix, Jesse Plemons, David Warshofsky, Amy Adams, and Rami Malek

Plot Summary:

Set in America in the years following World War II, a charismatic intellectual (Philip Seymour Hoffman) launches a faith-based organisation and taps a young drifter (Joaquin Phoenix) as his right-hand man. But as the faith begins to gain a fervent following, the one-time vagabond finds himself questioning the belief system he has embraced, and his mentor.

The Master is released in cinemas on October 12, 2012 in the US and, Friday 9th November 2012 in the UK.
