Guerrilla to air in April
Sky Atlantic has released a first-look trailer for upcoming drama Guerrilla, from Academy Award-winner John Ridley (American Crime, 12 Years A Slave).
The six-part series, set in 1970s London, stars Freida Pinto and Babou Ceesay as two politically active lovers, Jas and Marcus who quickly transform into hardened militants at war with a Special Branch unit dedicated to crushing all forms of black activism.
Also starring is, Idris Elba (who is also executive producer), Rory Kinnear, Daniel Mays, Zawe Ashton, Denise Gough, Nathaniel Martello-White, Nicholas Pinnock and Brandon Scott.
A co-production between Fifty Fathoms and ABC Signature, Guerrilla begins on Sky Atlantic on Thursday, 13th April.
