NBC drama travels to E4
Channel 4 has acquired NBC’s new sci-fi drama Timeless, to air on E4.
Timeless, created by Eric Kripke (Revolution, Supernatural), Shawn Ryan (The Shield), follows a group of unlikely heroes, lead by history professor Lucy Preston (Abigail Spencer – Rectify), scientist Rufus Carlin (Malcolm Barrett – Hurt Locker) and soldier Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter – 90210), who are thrust into the adventure of their lives as they attempt to thwart a dark conspiracy that is a threat to all of humanity
When a mysterious group of criminals led by Garcia Flynn (played by ER‘s Goran Visnjic) steal an experimental time machine, the trio chase through time using a prototype machine and encountering some of the most seminal moments in history in order t catch him.
The drama also stars, Sakina Jaffrey (The Mindy Project), Paterson Joseph (The Leftovers), Susanna Thompson (Arrow) and Claudia Doumit (Scandal).
Timeless is currently airing on NBC in America to positive reviews. E4 will air the series in the UK.
