The BBC has released three first-look images of BBC One’s epic new six-part adaptation of War And Peace.
The pictures reveal Paul Dano as Pierre, Lily James as Natasha and James Norton as Andrei.
Paul Dano plays Pierre Bezukhov
The event drama, based on Leo Tolstoy’s epic novel, and adapted by Andrew Davies, was filmed in Russia, Lithuania and Latvia, and is set to air on BBC One this winter.
Lily James plays Natasha Rostova
The enemble cast of War and Peace also features: Jim Broadbent, Gillian Anderson, Rebecca Front, Kenneth Cranham, Aneurin Barnard, Tuppence Middleton, Stephen Rea, Callum Turner, Tom Burke, Aisling Loftus, Jessie Buckley, Brian Cox and Ken Stott.
