The CW casts winged superhero!
DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow has cast its Hawkman.
German actor Falk Hentschel (StreetDance 2, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will play Carter Hall (aka Hawkman), a reincarnation of an Egyptian Prince who can access the powers of the Hawk God, Horus, transforming him into the winged warrior who is fated to reincarnate throughout time along with his soulmate, Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl (played Ciara Renée).
Hawkman will first appear in the crossover episodes of The CW’s Arrow and The Flash, before transitioning to DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, which will also star Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller and Arthur Darvill.
DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow is due to air early 2016.
