Bear Grylls‘ adrenalin-fuelled ITV show Bear Grylls: Mission Survive has been recommissioned for a second series.

The adventure show – which saw DJ and model Vogue Williams crowned the winner – was filmed in Costa Rica and saw Bear test a group of celebrities on a 12 day survival mission: shelter, water, fire and food, pushing them to their physical and emotional limits, to be crowned Bear’s Mission Survivor.

Bear Grylls said: “I’m so proud of Mission Survive and all it stands for: endeavour, comradeship and overcoming fears. For me it is about understanding that sometimes we have to go through genuine adversity to come out the other side better, stronger and more empowered. It is such a privilege to get to do it once more with our BGV, Electus, betty team and here begins the journey to find the next ultimate survivor!”

Bear Grylls: Mission Survive is a Bear Grylls Ventures/ Electus/ betty production.
