The six-part series, adapted from the James Runcie novel, ‘Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death’, sees Norton play Sidney Chambers – a charismatic, charming clergyman who turns investigative vicar when one of his parishioners dies in suspicious circumstances.
Robson Green plays Sidney’s partner – plain speaking, over-worked Police Inspector, Geordie Keating in the 1953 Cambridge-set drama.
The cast also includes: Morven Christie, Tessa Peake-Jones, Kacey Ainsworth, Al WeaverPheline Roggan, Fiona Button, Ukweli Roach and Tom Austen.
