ITV has unveiled a first-look teaser trailer for series five of Downton Abbey.
Jim Carter narrates the trailer as Butler Mr. Carson with a short monologue revealing “things are changing”. However, fans shouldn’t be too worried as it has been confirmed no key characters will be killed off in this year’s eight-part series.
Richard E. Grant, Anna Chancellor, Sue Johnston and Rade Sherbedgia will be joining the cast. Dame Harriet Walter and Peter Egan will be reprising their roles as Lady Shackleton and Lord Flintshire respectively.
Downton Abbey returns later in the year on ITV.
