UK fans no longer behind the US for GOT premiere

Sky Atlantic has announced the first episode of Game Of Thrones Season 4 titled: ‘Two Swords’ will premiere on the channel simultaneously with HBO’s East Coast transmission on Monday 7 April at 2am.

Created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and based on George R.R. Martin’s best-selling book series A Song of Ice and Fire, the award-winning drama chronicles an epic struggle for power in a vast and violent kingdom.

The series stars: Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Aidan Gillen, Iain Glen, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Jack Gleeson, Alfie Allen, Natalie Dormer, Gwendoline Christie and Charles Dance.

Joining the season 4 cast is, Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell), Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand, Oberyn’s paramour), Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Lord Mace Tyrell), Michiel Huisman (Daario Naharis, a mercenary ally to Daenerys), Yuri Kolokolnikov (Styr, a wildlings chief) and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Ser Gregor Clegane, a.k.a. ‘The Mountain’).

Game Of Thrones returns on Monday 7 April at 2am and will be repeated at 9pm on Sky Atlantic.
