Here’s the ‘Spartacus: War of the Damned’ teaser trailer that was revealed at this years San Diego Comic-Con.

The new and final season is described by the cast as “Bittersweet” and “epic-sad.”

With showrunner Steven S. DeKnight commenting: “Everything is super-sized this season,” adding: “Every single [script] is just ridiculously gigantic.”

While series lead Liam McIntyre described one of the scenes as: “One of the biggest [things], dramatically, we’ve ever done.”

‘Spartacus: War of the Damned‘ is due to air on Starz in the US, January 2013. Sky One airs the series in the UK with an airdate yet to be announced for the new season.
