Welsh actress Joanna Page, star of The Syndicate and Gavin & Stacey has suggested that a return of the hugely popular BBC comedy that ran for three series is unlikely.

There had been a rumoured one-off special of the comedy that aired between 2007 and 2010, starring, Page, Matthew Horne, Ruth Jones and James Corden, however a recent comment by Page seems to dispel those rumours.

Page told Digital Spy: “To be honest with you I don’t [think it will come back]. When we all finished the third series, we were happy it ended because it was nice to move on to other things. It was nice to finish it with people still really enjoying it.

“I think everyone is so busy now and we’re off doing our own things. It would be a nightmare trying to get everyone back together again. So I don’t think there will be another one.”

Adding: “People still enjoy it, it’s still shown all the time and people still have really fond memories of it,” she said. “So I think we were all really happy with the way it did finish.
