With Absolutely Fabulous currently back on our screens with three episodes to celebrate its 20th Anniversary, Jennifer Saunders has confirmed in an interview that the rumours of an Absolutely Fabulous movie is true!

Speaking to New York Magazine, Jennifer who plays Edina Monsoon in the comedy said: Yes, I’m definitely going to do it. I’m aiming to shoot this in a beautiful part of the Riviera. I fancy the south of France in the spring.

Episode 2 of the current specials will air on New Years Day, with the third due to correspond with the London 2012 Olympics. The first episode was shown on Christmas Day.

The three specials will start airing in the US on January 8 on BBC America.
