‘The Saint’ begins Principal photography.
Principal photography started on Monday on The Saint, an updated version of the perennially popular character whose career has been documented in TV shows, films, comic books and almost a hundred original books.
This version stars Adam Rayner (recently seen in the BBC 1/Cinemax show Hunted) as Simon Templar and long time cult favourite Eliza Dushku as the Saint’s sometime girlfriend Patricia Holm. Shooting is taking place either side of Christmas in Los Angeles and San Diego.
Other confirmed cast members include Greg Grunberg (Heroes) and Enrique Murciano (Without a Trace, NCIS, CSI). And former Saint Ian Ogilvy has confirmed that he’ll be filming a cameo role today (Tuesday 18th).
The pilot is written by Jesse Alexander and produced by him, along with Brad Krevoy and Roman Viaris.
