The first BBC promo image has been released for the one-off 90 minute adaption of ‘The Lady Vanishes’ which airs this Christmas on BBC One.
The picture shows Tuppence Middleton (Spies of Warsaw) and Tom Hughes (Cemetery Junction, Silk) as Iris and Max the central characters in the a story.
The drama also has a stellar cast including; Keeley Hawes (Spooks, Upstairs Downstairs) as Mrs Todhunter; Gemma Jones (Spooks, Bridget Jones’s Diary) as Rose Flood-Porter; Stephanie Cole (Coronation Street) as Evelyn Flood-Porter and Julian Rhind-Tutt (The Hour) as Mr Todhunter, with Selina Cadell as Miss Froy.
Fiona Seres, writer, said: “I am very excited to have such a brilliant cast for the Lady Vanishes not just the key characters played by Tuppence Middleton and Tom Hughes but also a dynamic supporting cast that includes Danish actors Benedikte Hansen and Jesper Christensen.”
