Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, who lives in one of the 13 American post-apocalyptic districts. Katniss steps up to take part in an annual televised fight to the death between contestants; One from each district.
The Hunger Games is based on Suzanne Collins’s best-selling action/sci-fi novel of the same name. Rumour is it could even be as popular as the Twilight franchise.
The film also includes; Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Stanley Tucci (Caesar Flickerman), Lenny Kravitz (Cinna) and Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy) in the cast.
The Hunger Games opens in cinema’s March 2012.
