First-look image as filming wraps!

The BBC has debuted a sneak peek picture for its highly anticipated Doctor Who spin-off series, Class.

The BBC Three YA series from Patrick Ness has been in production over the last 5 months and has now reached the last week of term as filming wraps.

The new picture shows Katherine Kelly as Coal Hill School teacher Miss Quill and Sophie Hopkins, aiming what appears to be an alien gun as April, one of the school’s sixth formers.

The cast also stars Greg Austin, Fady Elsayed and Vivian Oparah, as students of School that has been a part of the Doctor Who universe since the very beginning… at a cost! All the time-travelling over the years has caused the very walls of space and time to become thin. There’s something pressing in on the other side, something waiting for its chance to kill everyone and everything.

Class is set to air first on BBC Three in October and then BBC One.
