Stars take on Shakespeare’s revered plays.

Following the critically acclaimed and BAFTA winning series The Hollow Crown, BBC Two has unveiled a new trailer for The Hollow Crown: The Wars Of The Roses the concluding part of this ambitious cycle of Shakespeare’s History plays telling the bloody history of the English throne in three adaptations, Henry VI (in 2 parts) and Richard III.

The drama stars an ensemble of British stage and screen acting talent, including, Benedict Cumberbatch, Judi Dench, Sophie Okonedo, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Keeley Hawes, Tom Sturridge, Michael Gambon, Philip Glenister, Andrew Scott, Jason Watkins, Samuel West, Stanley Townsend, Adrian Dunbar, Geoffrey Streatfeild, Ben Daniels, Ben Miles, Sam Troughton, Stuart McQuarrie, Anton Lesser, Kyle Soller, Phoebe Fox, James Fleet and Lucy Robinson.

The Hollow Crown: The Wars Of The Roses will air on BBC Two on Saturday, 7th May at 9pm in the UK and on PBS in America.
