Sean Bean investigates grotesque murder

See Game Of Thrones actor Sean Bean in a first-look trailer and clip for The Frankenstein Chronicles.

The six-part drama, set in Georgian London in 1827, stars Bean as Inspector John Marlott who discovers a mutilated child-like body up on the shore and is horrified to discover it’s not actually a child but rather a crude assembly of body parts arranged in a grotesque parody of a human form. Marlott finds himself unable to shake off the memory of what has happened that fateful night.

The series also stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Charlie Creed-Miles, Tom Ward, Ed Stoppard, Elliot Cowan, Hugh O’Conor, Joe Tucker, Kate Dickie, Lalor Roddy, Patrick Fitzsymons, Richie Campbell, Robbie Gee, Ryan Sampson, Samuel West, Shaun Mason, Steve Wilson, Steven Berkoff, Stuart Graham and Vanessa Kirby.

The Frankenstein Chronicles begins on ITV Encore on Wednesday, 11th November at 10pm.
