BBC Three has commissioned a second series of hit hybrid comedy Murder In Successville.

Tom Davis will reprise his role as DI Sleet in the crazy town of Successville to investigate another string of murders, with a new batch of celebrity sidekicks by his side.

Tom Davis says: “I’m over the moon to be heading back to Successville and I would like to thank the BBC for embracing the madness of the show. We have loads more mad places to go and I can’t wait to see who we are taking there. LET’S GO SOLVE A CRIME.”

Made by Tiger Aspect Productions, the new series will see some of today’s most famed celebrities (played by the likes of Tom Stourton, Colin Hoult and Cariad Lloyd) as you’ve never seen them before, and expect DI Sleet to put his sidekicks in more ridiculous and hilarious predicaments.

Tiger Aspect’s Head of Comedy Entertainment, Andy Brereton, says: “It’s amazing to have another chance at murder – most people only get one stab at it. Will the sidekicks feel the heat when they join DI Sleet on the beat? Or can they call upon the science of deduction to solve a Murder In Successville? Let’s go solve a crime.”

Murder In Successville starts shooting in January 2016, and transmits later in the year.
