Bran’s tutor gets a new face!

HBO hit series Game Of Thrones has recast the character of the Three-Eyed Raven for its sixth season.

EW.com reports, veteran actor Max von Sydow (Minority Report, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) is set to take over the role of Bran Stark’s (Isaac Hempstead Wright) mystical tutor the Three-Eyed Raven, who was last seen in the season 4 finale portrayed by Struan Rodger.

It was also recently announced Ian McShane (Deadwood), will also play a small but crucial role in season 6. McShane’s character is currently being kept under wraps.

Game Of Thrones airs on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK.
