BBC One has unveiled a new trailer for 3-part drama, The Driver starring David Morrissey (The Walking Dead, The 7.39).

Written by Danny Brocklehurst, the series follows taxi driver Vince Mckee (Morrissey), who following a family mystery, frustration with his job and his life – makes a terrible decision when he accepts an offer to start driving for a criminal gang.

The story is ultimately a redemptive one about a man who, under incredible circumstances, gets a second chance. Claudie Blakeley (What Remains, The Nightwatch) plays his wife, Ros, and Sacha Parkinson (Coronation Street) as their daughter Katie.

Ian HartColm Meaney and Shaun Dingwall also star.

  1. EXcellent – My goodness, the suspense – i watched on IPlayer.. I wanted to stop it for fear something awful was about to happen…to DM…had to remind myself i was watching a TV Drama.
