Mystery surrounds new ‘Walking Dead’ regular

The Wire and Teen Wolf actor Seth Gilliam, has joined the cast of zombie drama, The Walking Dead as a new series regular for Season 5.

Gilliam is currently listed to play Michael Todd, in the AMC drama, though his real name is being kept under wraps (in case fans recognise his character from the comic books?).

Deadline reports his character is described as having two sides, displaying a friendly, puckish humor but also having a haunted side stemming from a dark secret.

Gilliam is expected to continue his recurring role of Dr Deaton in Teen Wolf while co-starring on Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead airs on FOX in the UK.
