Jack Whitehall claims he was misquoted!

Speculation has arisen on the future of Jack Whitehall‘s BBC Three comedy, Bad Education, following an interview the actor and comedian gave with Time Out.

The interview in Time Out quoted Whitehall as saying: “I’ll be doing one more British series of Bad Education, but then that will be the end of it. Never say never, but I think three series is probably enough.”

“It feels like a lot of these things will be coming to an end, so I’ve got to find new projects to do. It’s a daunting prospect, to not know what the next thing is,” Whitehall added.

Whitehall, who stars and co-writes the school comedy series with Freddy Syborn, responded to the article on twitter saying:

“To clarify I didn’t say in interview Bad Ed will definitely end after series 3. I said that may be the last series. It may not #misquoted”

Whitehall is currently developing a US version of Bad Education for ABC.
