Michael Kitchen returns in a new series of Foyle’s War
Michael Kitchen and the cast of Foyle’s War have begun filming on series 9 of the ITV award-winning detective drama, inspired by real events in the early Cold War.
Kitchen returns to the role of Christopher Foyle, a Senior Intelligence Officer for the secret service, MI5 in three new two hour films alongside Honeysuckle Weeks as Samantha Stewart, Daniel Weyman as Adam Wainwright, Ellie Haddington as Hilda Pierce, Tim McMullan as Valentine and Rupert Vandsittart as Sir Alec Myerson.

The major blight of post war Britain, the Black Market, will be focused on as will some of the darkest secrets from operations conducted by the British Special Operations Executive during WW2.
Further cast includes Alexander Arnold (Skins), Joseph Drake (Ripper Street), Finbar Lynch (Breathless), Neil Fitzmaurice (Mount Pleasant), Amber Rose Revah (The Bible), Amanda Lawrence (Above Suspicion), Hermione Gulliford (Lewis) and John Heffernan (Love and Marriage).
